DON BERNARDINO MENCIA JOVEN
MENCIA JOVEN
Red Wine
For five generations, the tradition in the elaboration of quality wines has been kept as well as the preferential use of the variety of grapes knows as mencia.
Production Area:
Guarantee of origin and quality of a wine from Ribeira Sacra (Amandi).
Organoleptic Characteristics:
It shows a cherry red color with violet reflections. Its aroma is full, with a fine and distinguished aromatic intensity, reinforced by the varietal charge which is characteristic of the mencia grape. It is intense, elegant and balanced in the mouth: a velvety wine, a well assembled acidity; with a subtle alcoholic strength which is both generous and rounded, giving it the elegance and peculiarity belonging to the best wines of Amandi.
Gastronomy:
It is the perfect companion of traditional Galician cooking: meat pies, stews, octopus, roast meat and lamprey. However, let us not forget sirloin, ribs, and seasonal meats such as wild boar, deer and venison.
